Testimonials of the experience:
Long description of the experience: The route starts in Moura, next to the city market. The first point of interest is the Roman bridge over the Brenhas river, as you head towards the watchtower of Porto Mourão. Then, travel a few kilometers along the bank of the Ardila river to Castro da Azougada (Vestiges of stone fortifications and a line of defensive slopes landed around the hill. The signs of excavations carried out a few years ago are still visible), then continue the route to the crossing point of the Ardila River, which is made by boat to the centenary estate Entre as Águas. From the estate, the bicycle route begins and the destination is Monte das Eirinhas, where the route passes through a paved road up to the entrance to the pine forest of the Alqueva dam. At the Alqueva perimeter, it is possible to walk the last few meters along the banks of the great lake until you reach the destination that is the Alqueva dam Marina, where you can enjoy this privileged area.
